Welcome to the home of Jill Parkhill Designs! You'll find wall murals, canvas paintings, drawer pulls, and various other exceptional things designed for our special little ones and the people that love them. Everything is hand made, and I customize anything. I paint because I love it, and I like to think it shows!

I'm proud of my work, I believe the quality speaks for itself. My work is NOT mass produced, they are not one of 50 identical pieces, and they are not the typical colour by number stencils. My works ARE pieces of art; each one is carefully hand painted with extreme attention to detail, and each one has to pass my own standard for quality. I'm picky, sometimes too picky, but thats the only way to do it right.

Have a look through my portfolio for examples of work I've already created, if you see something that peaks your interest please let me know. All works are done custom order, I don't typically have stock on hand because of the personalized nature of what I do. If you'd like something changed, some detail altered, don't hesitate to ask; I am always more than happy to modify an existing design, or create something completely new!

Summer is here! Again!

I've been negligent in posting updates...I know. Busy with the kidlet, school, dance, recital, soccer, and painting! I lost my website password to boot. It is now written safely and hidden in my house, provided I don't forget where I put that too. It happens. Just ask my poor husband...'have you seen the cheques?'. I've been busy painting and haven't updated this website as often as I'd like. We actually had to re-install the software because when I got my new laptop I didn't have it on there. Goes to show how long its been. Sorry...I won't let it happen again :) I do update Facebook quite often though, its just so easy! So for any of you looking for updates on projects and whatnot, have a look for me (Jill Parkhill Designs). I'll add a link on my homepage here, today....I promise!

I'm hoping if I stop adding dates to my posts perhaps it will go unnoticed that I don't post as often as I should? Yes? No? LOL.

My Daily Rate Murals are doing well, I've had a few done this past few months, and with my daughter heading to school full time in September I'm going to be able to really apply myself and get more business going. Hooray! The rate is $125 per day, 6 hours at your location of actual painting time, includes all supplies and prep work. Its a fabulous deal really...and I paint pretty quickly! If you're interested drop me an email and I can send you pics of some of the other 'day jobs' I've done. It can at least give you an idea of what is possible.

This past show season was great! Super busy, lots of great new people, lots of ideas floated around. I'm starting to book my fall season now, can't wait! We're also working on some new products...keep checking in for details! Should be good!!!

And so back to work I now go, the website is updated, facebook is up to snuff, email has been checked. Thank you for stopping in, sorry its been so long ;)
