I've been in business since 2004, and as my daughter grows, so does my business. The idea behind Jill Parkhill Designs was conceived when I was designing my daughter's nursery. When I couldn't find any accessories to match her bedding I decided to create my own. I had so much fun doing it I've decided to keep doing it for other people. I've sold pieces locally, nationally and internationally (US, UK, Australia, Denmark), and it always pleases me when a client is thrilled with their artwork. I'm constantly getting asked if I did indeed paint it myself, and people are amazed at the little details I strive so hard to include.

Art has always been a part of my life and I'm finding myself in a position where I have a bit more freedom to pursue this passion. I am a work-at-home-mom through my business and have been able to stay here at home with my daughter, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Now that my daughter has started school I'm finding I have a wee bit more concentrated time to work. Therefore, my projects have expanded and I'm able to offer more options, which is always nice. I have my products in several local boutiques, I give every client the same options and service I do to those customers. My products sell for MUCH more in those boutiques; when ordering directly from me you're getting the exact same quality at a MUCH better price. I love to be able to give someone something so unique and personalized to their own taste. I thrive on the challenge of painting something custom. Some of my best murals have come from ideas from clients that they didn't think were possible. There's always a way; regardless of distance, size or even budget. The bigger the challenge the more fun it can be!

I simply ask for a deposit once an order has been placed, this ensures your spot on my schedule. Depending on the scale of the order, timeline or other details, the deposit agreement may be changed, but I'm always more than happy to discuss a mutually agreeable arrangement.

My preferred method of payment is PayPal, its quick and easy and lets me get your order to you faster. Visa and Master Card are accepted, PayPal balances are also acceptable. Payments can be money orders or personal cheques (will be held until cleared) or cash in person. Shipping is extra and can only be determined on a case by case basis, please contact me for more details. If you're local (Woodstock, Brantford, Paris) I can usually arrange to drop off your artwork when I make a trip in, please let me know and we can see what we can work out.
